the last few months have definitely been one of the toughest times of my life... migrating to a new country new city and trying to create a new life for myself there. i cant say ive been completely successful at it...its still a work in progress.
initially there was so much excitement for the move that i didnt really think about how different my life would be leaving my loved ones, my job and entire life behind...replacing my cappuccino for a starbucks passion ice tea lemonade, my high heels on the car pedal for flat brogues on the subway and erasing whispers of trees for the boisterous sound of the city.
its definitely a transition but a transition ive been blessed with and am excited to see what the future holds.

there are 3 sets of shelves in our apartment...this section is dedicated to the culinary world.

reality series, which consists of objects whose forms are sampled from existing sources (meaning the pig mould was from a real pig that unfortunately died from malnutrition, allen will donate $10 from each sale to the

museum of modern art in new york. His process emphasises the inherent beauty of things - beauty from concept, beauty from materials, beauty from structure.
